Their stamina doesn't recover much on easy mode, but on hard mode this combo doesn't work AT ALL without the thudslug upgrades and serious skill.
You need to bounty them in order of how long they'll be out though, punched one first, then shock, then spiderweb.īosses: get them all alive easily with the classic thudslug + zappfly combo (alternate between them). For a group of three you can also run in, punch 1, zappfly another, and bolamite the third. For groups of enemies, Stunkz are great and you can bounty up to 3 enemies before any wake up. Your strategy should be as follows:īasic enemies: can be bountied alive after 1 punch (have to be quick in this case) or after 1 charged Zappfly (knocks them out for a bit longer). The easy and fun way to do this is on EASY! It takes only like 3 hours to run through to the barge portion and it is soo easy to capture all enemies alive (and even get away with killing the exploders). I did buy a couple upgrades at the beginning, but like seriously y'all, you will need to be bountying even the exploding enemies alive to hit this threshold on hard (due to the lack of main targets alive). I tried desperately to bounty all enemies alive on hard regardless and ended up at the end of the line with 19k after beating up villagers until they were penniless lol. The main targets are nearly IMPOSSIBLE to bounty alive after the first few, and they are your primary income. Save yourself some sanity, and do not attempt this. You may be tempted to try this on hard mode to finish the game in one playthrough. I couldn't figure out a way to make them refill their pockets, and do remember that in Buzzerton and New Yolk City they will start to run away and shoot at you after you smack someone twice in too quick succession. The caveat there is that as far as I can tell, each individual villager has a maximum of 9 bags of moolah they will drop. The only additional way to make money is by beating up the villagers in the three main towns. This is in addition to seeking out all of the collectible treasure chests, moolah pots, and orange crystals. And, of course, spend nothing on upgrades. The tricky thing here is that 20K is a LOT, and requires you to bounty nearly every enemy alive, and more importantly, every main target alive. The achievement will unlock once you land at your destination. While there isn’t a trailer yet for the latest version, you can refresh your memory with the Nintendo Switch trailer underneath the tweet.This achievement requires you to have 20,000 moolah by the time you talk to the barge operator in the Mongo Wilds (after turning in the final bounty in New Yolk City).

Rather than following series favourite Abe, we’re following Stranger. If you’re not familiar, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath was a Western-themed entry in the long-running Oddworld series. This latest version gives the game a further polish still, now supporting 4K and 60FPS on Series X|S and PS5.

Eventually, it’d get another dusting off and upgrade when it arrived on the Nintendo Switch in 2020. The 2005 action adventure originally got a HD remaster all the way back in 2011 for the PlayStation 3 and PC. Oddworld Inhabitants has announced it’s bringing Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD to Xbox and PlayStation next week.
